1. St Patrick’s Day
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day in a real Irish atmosphere. Music, Highland bagpipers and Irish dancers along with an array of beverages including non-alcoholic Guinness, beers, wine and Irish whiskies. Food available from noon. FREE admission.

2. International Film Festival Ottawa
This event brings award-winning films of the global film festival circuit to Canada’s Capital. In its 4th edition it’s offering over 20 films from Canada and around the world. Tickets: $15.

3. Ottawa Improv Festival

3. Youth Infringement Festival
This is an open access performing arts festival for Ottawa youth ages 16 to 25 to develop and produce original work. Tickets from $5. It’s “Pay what you can”.

5. Senators vs Carolina Hurricanes
Cheer on the Senators against Caroline Hurricane. Tickets from $35.

6. Bug Adventure

7. Art Show

11. Canadian Wrestling Trials
Canada’s top wrestlers will be fighting in Ottawa for the right to represent our country at top international wrestling events like the Pan American Games, World Championships, and a variety of European Grand Prix Wrestling events. 12. Echoes of the Mother Land

13. Lisa LeBlanc with the NAC Orchestra
Shortly after winning top honours at the 2012 Festival international de la chanson de Granby, Lisa LeBlanc released her eponymous debut album. It was phenomenally well received, and the awards piled up: New Artist of the Year at the ADISQ gala, New Artist of the Year at the Gala alternatif de la musique indépendante du Québec, and Révélation

14. Frostbite

16. Mudmen
Canada’s Celtic Rock Warriors are coming to The Joint this St. Patrick’s Day! The Mudmen are a blast of Celtic energy whose members are known to be characters both on and off the stage. 18. Le Vice-Consul
March is Francophonie Month, and to celebrate it the Alliances Françaises of Canada will present a play adapted from Marguerite Duras’s novel. Set in India in the 1930s, it portrays a world of French diplomacy. The Vice-Consul, far from home and in the middle of widespread horror, commits an unspeakable act.

19. Tropical Fusion
A dance night on Algonquin College campus. Enjoy Soca, Dancehall, Reggaeton, and Afrobeat. This is a fundraiser for the pediatric end-of-life care facility, Roger Neilson House. Tickets $27.96. Sugar Shack Season

20. Vanier Sugar Festival
The Sugar Festival is a free family and community event, celebrating the traditions of the sugar season, while allowing visitors to reconnect with or learn about artisanal maple syrup production. 21. Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm
Enjoy the Heritage Sugar Shack Tour, which dates the original sugaring process on the farm back to the late 1800’s. The system is in use today! Self guided Museum tour, which includes original artifacts and tools from the establishment of the farm from the 1800’s. Animal Barn – there are many new babies arriving just in time for spring! 22. Sugar Bush at the Log Farm
Come out to the farm to experience sugarbush 2024. This once-a-year Canadian tradition doesn’t last long as winter gently eases into spring. Take a wagon ride out to the sugarbush to see how maple syrup is made. Then take a walk through the trails of the sugar maples and taste some sweet taffy on the snow. PAID. 23. Maple Fest
Short and sweet, sugar bush season is our favourite time of the year. Winters in Ottawa can be a little long, but we know that once the sugar shack fire is burning nice and hot, our favourite people and a new growing season aren’t far behind. PAID. March 3-April 14.
24. AEW Collision

25. Kilt up, Curl, and Ceilidh
All experience levels are welcome for an evening of curling, kilts (kilts not mandatory) and
music. All gear will be provided. Bring along clean shoes with good grip for use on the ice.
Following curling there will be door prizes, a cash bar, pizza and music. The Scottish Society will be in the house and the fun will be on the button. So don’t skip this event!
